Verl Brorsen, along with his wife Dianna, own and operate Bluestem Hunting Reserve, along with their farming and ranching operation. Bluestem Hunting has been in business since 1998.
Travis Brorsen oftentimes helps run the hunts at Bluestem when he is not on Animal Planet TV showing off his professional dog training skills, running his dog training business in New York City, or promoting his Greatest American Dog treats.
Laura Vollmer can be found at the front desk the morning of our hunts to greet our guests and check them in. She is the mother of three active boys, and is a daughter of Verl and Dianna Brorsen.
Wayne Allen has worked at Brorsen Bluestems, Inc. for over 20 years on both the hunts and farm. He can be found in the release tower or working the blinds. He is also an avid fisherman.
Dexter Shinault is from Stillwater, Okla. and is usually in the release tower on European hunt days. Dexter loves working cattle and is a big football fan.
Kegy Ruark is a native of Vinita, Okla. and has many titles including professional golf caddy, artisan, barbeque sauce fancier, and a finder of things. He also helps out at Bluestem hunts.
Bob Henry has brought his dogs to retrieve birds for many years. He works at Ditch Witch and is a dedicated deer and bird hunter.
John Roll, and his wife Kathy, own and operate Huntmaster Labs in Cashion, Okla. In addition to raising and selling labrador retrievers, they also compete at field trials with their dogs. John is a regular dog handler at Bluestem Hunting.
Steve Harris has been a top dog man at Bluestem for many years. He is a longtime hunter. Steve owns and operates The Little Shop of Flowers in Stillwater, Okla.
Brad Griffin operates Wittwer Farms near Lamont, Okla. He lives in Stillwater and does a great job with his dog retrieving birds at Bluestem European hunts.
